When did I get my first GSP dog?
We have owned and worked GSP’s since the late 1980’s, my dogs have always lived in the house as part of the family with their temperament being the most important quality they possess Our two GSP’s are family members living with ourselves and our two daughters.

Where do I live with my two GSP’s?
Our two GSP’s are family members living with ourselves and our two daughters. We live on a sheep & cattle farm in Mid Wales & have 2 young children. Bridy was my first GSP & the founder of Disglairhill Gsp’s, she also made the decision for me never to be without one again.
Where does a GSP rescue dog come from?
Rescue dogs come from shelters and pounds, from which they must be pulled, given health care, reconditioned or trained and placed. An unwanted dog may also come directly from a home where circumstances have changed. In these cases, we help the family find an appropriate new home for the dog.
When do they start breeding GSP’s in Ohio?
The breedings have already happened and we are now expecting a litter of GSP’s the summer of 2021 and also a litter of rare Burgos Pointer puppies the summer of 2021. The Burgos Pointer is extremely rare here in the U.S. but is a nice alternative for people wanting a versatile pointing dog breed with a little less energy.
What makes a GSP a good hunting dog?
It is a thrill to have well-bred and properly trained GSP’s. Hunting with our dogs is our joy and passion, but we also strive to prove the abilities of our dogs by testing them in NAVHDA and AKC Hunt Tests. We breed to improve upon the characteristics that make this amazing breed unique.
