Can 2 kittens share a carrier?
You can absolutely put two cats in one large carrier. Small kittens can also go inside a regular-size carrier. You should not do this for more than a few hours, as your cats will need to move around and stretch.
Should I adopt two kittens?
Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why I always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend.
Do 2 kittens need 2 beds?
Many people let their cats and kittens sleep with them. Do not be offended if your kitten does not want to sleep in a special bed. He or she would probably prefer to be as close to his or her human as possible. If you adopted two kittens, as we recommend, they will sleep together.
Can you get 2 kittens from different litters?
As long as they’re introduced when they’re young, the sex of the kittens doesn’t matter. Any combination — two females, two males or one of each — should get along just fine. Keep in mind that your kittens will need to be spayed and neutered if you get one of each sex or you could end up with unwanted kittens.
Is it better to adopt one cat or two?
One of the strongest arguments for adopting two cats, rather than one, is simple: If you adopt two cats, you’re saving two lives. Despite the fact that kittens are more likely to be adopted, not every kitten finds her fur-ever home right away.
What happens when you adopt a cat from a shelter?
Your cat may have been happy & relaxed in the shelter or their foster home, but since then, they may have been examined by a vet, put in a cat carrier, taken a car trip, and now are in a total alien universe filled with strange sights, sounds and smells. Every cat is different, just like every home is different.
Can you have two kittens in a house?
Two kittens means two new lives in your house that will provide double the entertainment, snuggles and love! Look for kittens from the same litter or a pair that bonded during their time in an animal shelter. That way you’re guaranteed that their personalities will match!
