Where can I adopt a pet in KC?

We currently have pets available for adoption at the KC Campus for Animal Care, at our Zona Rosa Adoption Center and in foster homes. You do not have to have an appointment to come meet a pet. We kindly ask that you wear a mask while inside the shelter and maintain social distancing at all times. We can provide a mask to you if you do not have one.

Where can I look at cats in KC?

We can provide a mask to you if you do not have one. Once you arrive at the campus, you will be paired up with a team member to look at dogs or cats once staff is available to assist you. Our retail store and coffee shop will both be open during normal business hours.

How to get a kitten on the foster list?

Drop off your completed foster application (bring your ID) to any shelter to get on the foster list. Foster Information: Kitten Rescue asks any interested foster to first complete the foster application and then attend a foster orientation prior to taking home kittens.
