Can we carry pug in flight?
The Pets/Guide Dogs will not be allowed to occupy a passenger seat. Pet animals can be carried as an accompanied baggage or shipped as Cargo. Bookings can be made for pets as Accompanied Baggage / Excess Baggage through Air India Reservations.

Which airlines allow pugs in cabin?
The only domestic airlines that currently fly snub-nosed breeds in cargo are:
- Aloha Air Cargo.
- Amerijet (aside from seasonal heat-related restriction Amerijet has on English Bulldogs)
- Hawaiian Air.
- Pacific Air Cargo.
Are pugs allowed on United Airlines?
In the case of United Airlines, because it does not keep pets in climate-controlled conditions, they have heat embargoes for dog breeds (if it’s over 85 degrees they won’t fly pets) and when it comes to snub-nosed breeds, they will simply refuse to fly them in summer months (some airlines refuse to fly them year-round) …
Can pugs fly in-cabin with passengers?
Pugs should fly as a carry-on with you in the airlines, never as checked baggage in the cargo. Brachycephalic dogs (flat face, short nose) should never fly as checked baggage in the cargo, as there have been many reported deaths and many airlines have updated their rules accordingly.
Can pugs fly on Southwest?
Southwest Airlines welcomes small vaccinated domestic cats and dogs in an appropriate pet carrier in the aircraft cabin. Pets are not allowed to travel in-cabin on international flights or any itinerary that includes an international flight. We also do not transport pets to or from Hawaii.
Can I take my pug to the beach?
Yes, Pugs can go to the beach. But take watch them closely as Pugs cannot swim, this breed is susceptible to heatstroke, and the hot sand could burn their paws.
Do pugs like car rides?
Car travel is ideal for pugs (more on air travel coming up). Most pugs adjust to car trips fairly quickly and will calm down and sleep after some initial excitement. To protect your pug in the car, you’ll need a car-approved harness.
Does a dog carrier count as a carry-on?
Generally, if your dog in its carrier can fit under the seat in front of you, it can go in the cabin. Traveling with a dog this way, essentially as carry-on luggage, usually incurs a lower fee than if it travels in the belly of the plane. And by the way, a pet in its carrier counts as your carry-on bag.
