How long can Juvenile Beardies go without food?
It is unhealthy for a baby or juvenile Bearded Dragon to go more than 24 hours without food as they are in a rapid state of growth. Adult Bearded Dragons can go without food for around 4 weeks if they have enough fat stores but this is not recommended and should be fed daily.
Why did my beardie throw up?
Your bearded dragon is likely to throw up if you feed it too much food at once. Some bearded dragons, especially babies, are prone to eating more than they need to in one go. If you feed much less and it doesn’t eat more, but still looks full, then maybe it can’t digest the crickets due to lack of heat and light.

If your bearded dragon tries to bite you when you handle it, you should simply put on a pair of gardening gloves because not handling your bearded dragon will not lower their aggressiveness…it will only prevent you from developing a closer bond with your beardie.

Much like us, bearded dragons can become backed up, unable to pass a much-needed bowel movement. However, unlike us… impaction for a bearded dragon is a much more serious issue than simple constipation or bloating that almost always subsides shortly.
