What does a white spot on a goldfish look like?

Water change every week 20 -25% it’s a 75 gallon tank with 5 goldfish. He had this spot almost from the time I got him. Which has been over 2 months. It has gotten more pronounced the past day. It does just look like a pimple. I don’t see anything stringy yet. I thought something was stuck to that part a white string but i dont see it anymore.

Why are Oranda losing scales but acting normally?

It had a red-orange wen and dorsal stripe and now it’s just a light yellow. The only thing I can think of that was different here was that my lights weren’t on a timer and so they were off while I was gone. Since that time the oranda has been slowly losing scales on both sides of its body. It is still eating, swimming and acting 100% normally.
