How long does it take for a spider trap to work?

New design does NOT work at all, zero spiders caught after several months. With both the new and old design we have placed the traps unfolded on the floor of our basement. With the old design we would catch 100’s of spiders.

Which is the best spider trap for insects?

Works great for most spiders and insects (crickets, earwigs, etc). Does not keep wolf spiders in trap. I have watch wolf spiders over a span of 5 days inch their way off the trap and escape. Other than the wolf spiders they are great traps.

What should I change in my spider trap?

As a first step in troubleshooting the new design I strongly suggest eliminating the black lettering. Another consideration might be any change in coating between the paper and the sticky material. Is it safe to use Terro around cats?

Two reasons for this: the wind and other animals. However, my experience with that brand is that Terro traps are next to useless. It did not make any dent in the ant population and just gave them a regular source of food to snack at. The only ants killed were the ones that got stuck in it and a cup of water is just as effective at that.

Can a spider get out of a box?

Spiders are caught in the box and you don’t have to get freaked out by looking at them. Once they get stuck, there is no getting out loose to crawl over you at night, ha,ha. Best insect traps on the market!
