Slugs are always getting into our rabbits bowls and have been for years but they don’t do any harm, just leave their horrible slime on the hutch and the bowl.

What kind of food does a rabbit eat?
A rabbit’s primary dietary need (fiber) is taken care of through eating grass and hay. Rabbits do not actively look for insects to eat. A rabbit may eat a bug by mistake as many insects eat the same food as rabbits. A bug sitting on a leaf, for example, could be consumed. A rabbit may develop a taste for insects, but this is rare.
Thankfully, rabbits don’t eat slugs often and they are usually sensible enough to avoid them.
What do you clean a rabbit cage with?
Wash and scrub them using water and dish soap. Remove and wash all fabric bedding from the cage. Replace with clean bedding. Wipe down the cage with hot water and use vinegar to help remove stubborn urine deposits.
