You can brumate for as little as a couple weeks to 2 months. Cool down your Leopard gecko to about 65-70°F and make sure that you have fresh water in the enclosure the entire time.

How often should leopard geckos change their bedding?

Scoop the waste when it is noticed and change all their bedding at least once a month. Leopard geckos should always have access to a hiding place on the warm and cool side of their habitat. One hiding spot per gecko is a good rule.
